Avi Gordon was born raised in Harrisburg, PA and graduated from Binghamton University with a B.A. in Judaic Studies and a minor in International Studies with a focus on the Middle East. Since childhood, Avi has been actively involved with both Jewish and Israel youth movements, which sparked his interest and passion for Zionism and Israel advocacy. Post-high school, Avi lived in Israel for one year as part of Young Judaea's Year Course in Israel. There, he experienced Israeli society firsthand, working for the Magen David Adom (MDA), Israel's national ambulance service, and with underprivileged children in developing areas in Israel. Joel Lewison grew up as a conservative, zionist Jew in Chicago Illinois. Educated by day schools from k-12, he graduated from Ida Crown Jewish Academy in 2004. Years later, before earning his B.A. degree in political science from the University of Oregon (2009), he studied and volunteered while living in Jerusalem, Israel for just over 3 1/2 months.  Joel's experience spending the high holidays next to the Temple Mount in the Old City, and while serving as a first responder aboard ambulances with Magen Dovid Adom,  enabled him to better comprehend the critical need for Israel advocacy in America, inspiring an inner passion, to help educate his peers about tikun olam, the Jewish homeland, and our proverbial "Or-LaGoyim"
